Wow do I have some catching up to do about our summer adventures with Allie! Immediately following our Rosemary Beach vacay, we made a stop at Providence Canyon State Park, a relatively unknown little gem in south Georgia.
Providence Canyon is over 1100 acres and surprisingly, it's not entirely natural. Much of the erosion was caused by poor farming practices in the 1800s. Crazy right?
Walking on the river bed...
We had a great time hiking around the canyon rim and also down to the canyon floor. Glad this stop was on our way home from the beach!
After all the hiking in the Georgia summer heat, we totally earned a stop at Bruster's. :)
Stay tuned for deets on our trip to the mountains and the remainder of our summer with Al!
