Women Under Construction

Last night I had the privilege of attending the Women Under Construction event at FHC. As usual our senior pastor's wife Marilynn was the guest speaker and I was so captivated by her message.
In January Marilynn is releasing a book on prayer and learning to hear the voice of God called "Sometimes He Whispers, Sometimes He Roars".
Based on her message last night, I really can't wait to read it! Thank you Marilynn for sharing so much of yourself and your family through your writing and speaking. Zach and I are so humbled to walk beside your family in ministry and in life.

Zach and a few other musicians played during the service that night while our dear friend Allie Bridges sang. Girl, you are a blessing to so many here in Charlotte. Thank you for serving so faithfully!
After the service, the night was filled with fellowship, delicious desserts, and shopping at the Dollars for Dreams Marketplace! This marketplace is a collection of non-profit vendors who sell everything from coffee (Land of a Thousand Hills coffee) to purses and jewelry (Amani Ya Juu) to beads and baskets (Seeds of Hope) and almost everything in-between. All these organizations are about helping people in need here in Charlotte and all over the world. It was a really cool thing to see this come together and know so many dreams are coming true all over the world.

A big humongous thanks to all the people at FHC who made last night (and the second event tonight!) possible. I heart FHC!
